TPT export operations commenced in the United States during 2010 on behalf of the Hancock Timber Resource Group, the world's largest timberland investment manager. Export operations are based out of the Ports of Tacoma and Longview in Washington State. Species exported are Firs, Hemlock, Spruce and Cottonwood.

Currently TPT is shipping 80,000 JAS m3 (~11million board feet) per month from the HTRG forest estate through to predominantly Chinese ports. TPT's US operation is made up of a team of experienced permanent staff and contractors and also leases port space and a debarking facility.
