If you are going to arrange a Port visit, getting the weather right is a good start. On Friday 14 October team members of Oji Fibre Solutions were shown around the Glorious Mahuta by Captain Arrietta and his crew.

The Glorious Mahuta was in port loading logs from Oji and other major TPT clients to customers in China based in Zhenjiang port, (up the Yangtze river toward Nanjing). The vessel uploaded approximately 38,000 JASm3, and left the Port of Tauranga on the afternoon of Saturday 15 October, with an ETA in Zhenjiang on the afternoon of 3 November, all going well.

Captain Arrieta was good enough to show the team around the bridge and then the engine room, right down to where the propeller shaft exited from the stern.

Many thanks go to the Ships Agents, Nautilus and the Port of Tauranga security team for arranging a smooth and safe transition back and forth across the port operating area.
